National Road Safety Day 2023 3B Outer Circular Road, Moghbazar, Dhaka – 1217, Bangladesh 22 October 2023 Celebration of National Road Safety Day by the Automobile Association of Bangladesh (AAB). The Automobile Association of Bangladesh (AAB) celebrated National Road Safety Day on 22 October 2023. The event aimed to promote road safety awareness across the country. The inauguration of the Road Safety Awareness Campaign was held.The campaign was inaugurated by the Assistant Traffic Police Commissioner. Key Participants The campaign saw active participation from: Assistant Traffic Police Commissioner (DMP) AAB officials AAB volunteers Campaign Activities The campaign included several key activities to raise awareness about road safety: Distribution of 1,000 FIA 10 Golden Rules and 1,000 road safety awareness stickers to drivers, passengers, shopkeepers, students, and the general public. A rally was held from the AAB office premises to Moghbazar Circle, with participants carrying road safety materials to spread awareness. Digital displays showcasing road safety awareness videos. AAB Best Driver Challenge – Zero Contact AAB Social Media 08 May 2017 In support of FIA road safety, AAB launched a road safety campaign on its social media with the slogan: “AAB Best Driver Challenge – Zero Contact”.Promoted – United Nations Road Safety Collaboration   WHO: Message of Dr Chan, Director-General, 4th UN Global Road Safety Week The UN Road Safety Collaboration is pleased to announce that the Fourth UN Global Road Safety Week will be held from 8–14 May 2017. The Week will focus on speed and what can be done to address this key risk factor for road traffic deaths and injuries.
